Oh, I'm not taking that one on.
Talk to dumbblonde. She knows what's next.

Well, I used GraphicConverter to do it. Opened it up, chose the "Size" command, entered the pixel dimensions I wanted, and it scaled it instantly.

Double true.

I have never, ever in my life been happier to pay a shareware fee than for GraphicConverter. I've been using it for six years or so, and it does everything I need Photoshop to do (wife has full version) in a Mac-friendly program.

You have motivated me to change my avatar again since I haven't done so in about 6 months. Since most of you on this site enjoy looking at hot girls, I picked this one out just for you.

imageshack.us

(all assuming windows, i've not used a mac in years)

Find a pic you like on the net, right click, then left click on properties. Highlight the address in the properties box and copy (ctrl c). Go to http://imageshack.us, click url and paste the address into the upload field, set the size for what you want and click browse. It'll automatically host it for you and give you a link to use as an "off site" avatar.
