how old is too old?

I got my license at 32, got hired at a regional at 37 and am now at a major at 45.

I was told back in 1994 that I'd be too old to fly for a major. I guess they were wrong.

In my new hire class at the regional there were two guys in their 50's. Both second careers folks and both with no regrets...STILL!

If flying is what you want then follow Nike's advice and just do it! Be prepared for a wild ride!!

I see a great attitude, you are flying for the right reason, best of luck. BTW I left the Navy in 1977 at age 32 with 2700 hours of military flight time and was told by the major's I was too old, and hours to age were out of ratio. How times change
