HI

I wanted to ask if anyone know what the current salary would be for a first officer on the Pilatus PC12 for a new start up part 91 Company. Is 50 grand around the ball park figure

A first officer is not a required crew member on a PC-12. The Captain would be lucky to make 50 grand. You can expect to be paid next to nothing and also get to not log any time for the effort. If you are negotiating, ask for 30 but don't be surprised when they offer a free cup of coffee and a t-shirt.

HI

This is a certified SIC program for the PC12. Its a new company call SprintUS

Pilatus 12 is single pilot. However a P135 Cert can stipulate a 2 pilot aircraft depending on the mission and how tight the POI is.

To be clear, because the point seems in danger of being lost: you cannot log any kind of time in this airplane under part 91 as long as the other guy is logging time (barring all the safety pilot caveats, etc.) The airplane requires no SIC so you are not a required crewmmember. I get so tired of people trying to convince me otherwise, or just doing it anyway. I have known owners who preferred two pilots and would pay a right seater a daily rate, which is great. but understand that it's just a bit of cash for talking on the radio, NOT loggable time.

If it were me and I was really tight with the actual pilot or owner, I'd shoot for a daily rate that gave me the flexibility to pursue an actual job. Besides, how much is an owner going to pay a guynthat is not required to be on the payroll in any way?
