I interviewed back in 3/02. Got the call later that month saying that I did well on the DB. Woo hoo! I went and did the whiz thing and am still waiting for the official call. 2 questions

1. Am I in the pool yet. or do I go in after I get the official letter?

2. Does it normally take this long(3months) for the backround check?

Thanks,

That sounds kind of fishy to me. I'd call JB TODAY and politely inquire. If you got your type pre-interview and everything else went well, you are theoretically in the pool from your interview date. That said, when JB called me on Feb 22 I had to take the whiz quiz. About a week after that, I got the good "letter" that basically said "You have successfully completed the interview process, but this in not an offer of employment.." etc.

On the other hand, if you don't have the type yet, you are not in the pool until you get it. Pool date = type date or interview date, whichever is later.

Don't buy your arm floaties for the pool until you get that letter. That is the key! It takes a while sometimes so be patient and Great Luck!!
