The job I just quit wanted a min. of 60 hrs. per pilot and 24/7 365 with no hard days off. Training contract of 2 years and 1 year for each recurrent. That is hard to do with just 2 aircraft and an owner operator who wants to use the planes for very long weekends for himself.

Most trips were only 2 to 3 hrs. per day and lots of 3 day weekend trips that were only 4 hrs.

Did get to stay in one of his houses and wash windows every now and again.

By the way that was as DO, line pilot had it worse.
