One of the SkyWest HMO's was going to be a 33% increase, but they switched HMO's to one with the same coverage, saving me $20 a month for our family coverage.

+$1.29 /paycheck.

Sure, it would be nice to have no increase...but, after the good experiences I've had with my coverage this year, I have no real problem paying an extra $33.54 a year.

Who do you work for? I'm guessing Republic. They raise their premiums every year to negate your 2.5% raise every October 1 for inflation.

On a related note I'm paying $77 a paycheck. HMO, Single, no kids, and healthy. How does this compare to the rest of you guys?

$65.95/ paycheck for HMO (single, no kids, somewhat debatably healthy...LOL), dental, vision, and $500 flex. $43.23 of that is the HMO.

$77 is HMO. No dental, no vision, definitely no flex account, and management sends us e-mails about union negotiations claiming we are all happy with this amazing health package they have provided us.

Ha.
