Check it out. I guess AWA was the model the CEO's had in mind. Hence Mesa Grande.
Also check out Airtran. Wow
Thanks for lowering the bar.

A web so posting so nice, you had to post it twice???? M, LOA93 is THE BOTTOM OF THE BARREL. Sorry bud, no one is buying "USAPA" / AAA / "It's all ALPA's fault" diatribe here (with the exception of you & your USAPA cronies).

Have a great day. I'm at home enjoying cool weather, and hanging with my favorite people. I'm deadheading on Friday at 100% pay. Should I have a mechanical over the four day trip, I will also get 100% pay. I'm bidding for 4 weeks of vacation a year. One cool thing is that PBS allows me to bid for specific captains. I bid with check airmen. Our check airmen are a great bunch of people. The cool thing is that training scheduling calls and lets me know that they need my trip for training (full pay for the trip). Pretty sweet.

We have 19 more pilots resuming their previously held captain seat & 20 more returning furloughed pilots (you know, those pilots THAT HAD JOBS AT AWA when AWA holding acquired the floundering US Air). What a shame......Doug Parker even told us that no AWA employee would be harmed as a result of this "merger".

We will not capitulate or be bullied. You will reap what you have sewn. God Bless you M. I know that life is tough (I'm quite sure that you are on our seniority list despite any of you claims), and many of you can't see the forest for the trees. Perhaps he will open you eyes sometime soon.

MCDU, where do you find these things? I see the web address, but what sets you looking for things? I swear, you are one fantastic troll.

I'm always amazed at your ability to spin stuff. AWA exited BK in 1995. It had a total of about 85 planes then and a bunch of them were Dash -8's! Lets see, I'm a BK airline with Dash-8's, pilots are paid by differential equipment.... carry the 3, yeah, they weren't gonna make a bunch of dough.

MCDU, and this ray of sunshine brought to you by the sad, sorry East pilot group.

You are a piece of work Rev. D. You remind me of those preachers on TV begging for money. You can see the greed and the lies they spew, just like you. Enjoy your super cool Airline job. I bet you every major you ever interviewed with turned you down and you got stuck at AWA. Your personality just seems to be a bit twisted. Most airlines see right through that. I am glad you are having a ball playing Mr cool airline pilot.

I'm kind of a "late bloomer". I chose to fly corporate for a few years. That went south, so I went to a commuter that I would describe a great deal like AWA (great people, fun & interesting flights, and OK pay that was sure to improve). I in fact interviewed with TWA & the commuter at the same time. I know a bunch of TWA pilots and would have been happy to share the fight deck with any of them.

The AWA door opened for me later on down the road, and my philosophy is that when a door opens to you .....you should walk on through. I have had a couple of other doors not open. On one interview I had a captain question my logbook entries (page X; captain on a turboprop, page Y; captain in a corporate jet). As the Chief Pilot for a small corporate operation, I tried to explain how that would occur. He would have none of it. I have pals that work there & wish them a prosperous career. My honesty & integrity were challenged. I will not ever apply to that company again, unless I am in need of a job Not sour, just the way I feel.

Isn't interesting that every single legacy airline is either out of business, was in serious financial trouble & merged, or is in serious financial trouble and about to merger??

I am where I am supposed to be. I will see an upgrade in PHX some day, or one in PHL, CLT or DCA sooner. Your childish accusations and taunts reveal your angst and anger. You seem to be directing that at the only group of people that you can retrieve some portion of your career by reneging on a final & binding award.

I wonder how much more angry you would have been if your airline had simply gone out of business? I guess you soloed under a lucky star when America West Holdings acquired US Air.

The AirTran rates have no basis in reality. AirTran's most junior CA in 2009 would have made more than that by just flying the monthly minimum guarantee, so it is not any sort of average. Add 25-60% for a more accurate range.
