Don't have one yet, but I've got the bug.... bad!

No spamcans for me, thank you very much, I want an RV-8! I stopped in at the Van's factory in Aurora, OR a coupla weeks ago, took a tour of the facility and a demo ride in their RV-7 demonstrator. Man, what a sweet handling machine. The preview plans are on the way and I just installed some flourescent lights in my garage to start on my shop setup... now for an air compressor, drill press, etc. Then comes the empennage kit. I'll have to go for a quick build kit, don't have the guts to tackle the whole thing from a pile of aluminum parts...

One little ride is all it takes to become a drooling RV wannabe.

I got the opportunity to ride in an RV-8 (Thanks to a generous individual (flywithastick)). My entire outlook on home-builts changed. If I had the money and expertise, I would definitely build a kit plane. I would definitely build an RV.

I own a 1968 Cessna O-2A, complete with battle history and bullet holes. Flies like a dream. I have about 500 hours in this one.

I used to own with a partner, a turbocharged twin Cessna. Quite the airplane. A little expensive on annuals, but it was fast and could usually take 5 and bags on most trips.
