How many legs do you guys usually work per day? Is it different depending on AC?

It varies week by week. here is my last weeks number of flights per day.

Day 1. 1 airline , 1 repo flight, 1 pax flight
Day 2. 1 pax flight. (east coast)
Day 3. 1 pax, 1 repo. ( Transcon)
Day 4. 1 pax. (transcon)
Day 5. 1 pax. ( transcon)
Day 6. 1 pax. 1 repo. (west coast)
Day 7. 1 pax. 1 repo. 1 airline.

11 flights in 7 days. + 2 airlines. This is by far my slowest week.
This on the X.

The most legs in one day so far on the XL was 7 and it was a 9.2 hour day. Started out on the southern tip of FL and ended up in San Jose. The norm is 4, unless you get caught doing the NE shuffle then its normally 5. Last day is typically 2 to 3 legs before airlining home.

2-3 legs/day. 5 is rare and ends up being a 13.5+ hr day. I'm lucky if I get more legs than days in the week. Lots of hot spare. Rarely anything other than airline home the last day. Obviously I'm not on the X or XL and don't live on the East Coast.

I've had days of anywhere from 0 to 8 legs in the 560 fleet. If I had to guess at an average, I'd say about 4 legs on a typical mid-tour day. But as others are saying, it depends: you might sit hot reserve or spare or even be at a service center and not fly at all. And I've had a few days where I just sat in a hotel because they had no one to partner me with but that's a rare occurence.

The H400 XP....some days nothing due to MX or perf limitations. Others 5 legs over 13 hrs. Seems to be one of those two all the time.

My last tour in the Encore was 25.1 hours and 19 legs with several 13+ hour days. And that was a six day tour. Then again it is getting to be high season so you can expect that we will all work more. In the summer the average seems to be 2-3 legs per day, in winter its more like 3-5.

Whats the difference between Jeffrey Dahmer and a NetJets pilot?

Jeffrey Dahmer didn't eat every leg!!
