As pathetic as it sounds the regionals still pay more than instructing. Until that changes, flight instructing will be a revolving door profession

I made twice as much instructing as anyone I know on first year regional pay.

I had 3 instructors. 1 was awesome, 1 was good, and 1 sucked. They're all capt's at Skywest now.
