Don't know about that particular organization, but I'm involved in greyhound rescue. Here is a similar organization that is legit--

I think it's one of those Partenavia (P68?) twins. Interesting looking airplanes.

I never heard of the organization before seeing it here. Assuming that it is on the up-and-up, it's probably fine for volunteering your time for a good cause and for building hours, similar to Angel Flight. I would suggest that you review the sections of Part 91 that deal with private pilots sharing expenses, etc.
