Yeah! My roommate was at that game. Word has it they made an announcement asking for a representative from the squadron to fly the jet back home, because the pilot wasn't. At his review board, a high ranking admiral liked the airshow and decided the guy should keep his wings. All second hand info, I can't verify any of it.
 
I have always had someone on the ground key a radio and we listen to the anthem and speed up and slow down to get the timing right.

There is nothing better than flying a military aircraft and listening to a great rendition of the National Anthem at a stadium.
