How can you tell a pilot from an FA at Comair???

If they actually shut it down, it will be because they can go anywhere and start over for what they are being offered. We, the pilots, just came down to what every one else was already willing to fly for. It just doesn't make sense to fall on your sword for a bunch of huahs:puke: who wouldn't raise the bar in the 1st place. Having said that, I wouldn't blame our stews if they say time to put it to bed. That is all, carry on with your lowering of the bar.
 
Actually the real way you can tell is the pilots will be the ones with jobs while the FAs start getting replaced. Like Doh said why fall on the sword for a bunch of huahs. The FAs are free to leave or do whatever the unfortunate reality is they are fairly easily expendable. No worries the cuts are still alive and well and so is comair. HUAH for paycuts to stay alive

CMR is only alive and well as long as DL management says it is.

Fact- Unless Comair is training scab FA's right now, they will be able to shut the airline down for atleast a month or more!! It's easy with the mechanics at NW.... These guys were already training and ready!! So D'Angelo, don't think for one second that this won't sink Comair!!!

The only difference is that the pilots are going to have to buy dinner as well as drinks for there F/A's.

I told my wife to start looking for you on her trips. should be easy to spot (flies alot of o-time, listens to R&B, disparages furlougees and flight attendants). Basically selfish.
 
He'll be screaming a different tune when he screws up and gets called in to El Jefe's office for the CRPET One Arrival.

The shame is that the union he so despises will still have to defend his sorry a_ _.....

You are a f-ing disgrace to the Comair pilot group. You can try to explain yourself all you'd like, and it may make great sense to that pea-brain of yours, but it's pathetic no matter how you cut it.

I really don't know what you're trying to accomplish lately, but as a former Comair employee I find your self-serving nature and lack of empathy for your fellow crewmembers disgusting.

Let me guess, you weren't around during the strike when those flight attendants (whom you seem to think are a dime a dozen) offered nothing but support and encouragement...they were selfless.

I don't fly for Comair, and quite frankly it is upsetting enough to know that many other pilot's (some with families) are living day by day just to see if there is a job to go to next trip. So we should all grow up and act as responsible and appropriate as we should be with such matters, and offer encouragement rather than childish comments.

And if she finds him what are you going to do? Call him a dirty name? Get real, As much as I hate what D'angelo says, you can't do anything about it, except ignore him.

There was more than just a couple people picking up open time over there.

I doubt that he flies for Comair! He would be easy to spot as some captain kicks him out from FL310!
 
No ego here. Im just smart enough to realize there are hundreds out there willing to do the job for cheaper. Time to throw the egos aside and wake up to reality. You guys can scream all you want however resistance is futile. FAs will be replaced if they don't submit or maybe they just wont be allowed to strike. Either way ill be able to sleep at night knowing I still have a job. No bending over here just lowering the blood pressure and accepting reality. You guys really need help. You have an unhealthy obession with mens a$$es and ball*s. Its a sign of potential homoism. Not that there is anything wrong with that. you just have unresloved fantasies.

I don't think there is any question that striking FAs from CMR can be replaced, and replaced fairly quickly. Probably not as quickly as we think, CMR would be shut down for a few days at least and then it would take up to a month to get back up to full ops.

The issue then is not can they be replaced, but can CMR/Delta survive a month without CMR operating at full capacity?
 
A few days!!! Every Comair FA walks off will shut that Airline down for weeks!! The FAA will be there checking the new FA's, and it takes a week to train them at the least! Then they have to go thru IOE, I see it really hurting Comair and Delta in a serious way.
Time will tell, but I think since the FA's experinced the Pilots Strike they will be even more geared up for one!

I heard a rumor yesterday that Delta FA's are already signing up for the job (with DAL seniority) and will only require a 7 hour transition course to learn the CRJ. This isn't flamebait either... I'm serious.

Both Comair and Delta FA's are represent by AFA! The Delta FA's will not become Scabs!!! Comair will have to hire FA's off the street to be scab replacements!! You won't see any Delta FA's working at Comair!! Nice try!! And you believed that???? Sad!
