Anyone care to enlighten me ( and others ) on what the job market is like when it comes to rotary wings? Same nose-down attitude or...?

justhelicopters.com

The justhelicopters website is a good place to look, and you'll see a lot of current openings on their pilot employment page. Got to the homepage at this link

http://www.justhelicopters.com/main.htm

and then scroll to the bottom of the page. Click on the "Employment pilot" link and then enter your preference for job search near the bottom of the page. You can opt to see all listings.

There are always new listings there, and I know AirLog and PHI are currently hiring. Not too many entry level jobs however.

If you want some entertainment, check out the message board. I thought this site generated some acrimonious posting, but this is a tea party compared to the justhelicopter board.

Good luck.

www.nemspa.org has a bunch of info on Helo EMS operations, plus a bunch of links. Also, check out the websites of Air Methods, Rocky Mountain Helicopters, and CJ Systems. They almost always have openings for rotor drivers.

Instead of going to a regional I took a helicopter job recently. Probably was a mistake. The top pay isnt that high and the benefits are horrible. I didnt do enough research

Ask again in a year
