I am sick of paying for wellfare, gov't projects that go no where, and child support...Go cry into your pillow!

Your post on 1-2-05 on another thread says you did PFT. To refresh your memory, here it is:

Hey AFELLOW,

Don't piss on my leg and tell me it's raining, you PAY FOR TRAINING SCUMBAG.

You did more damage to this industry than anyone and don't tell me that one contract makes up for this. The people who wanted to get into commercial aviation while you stood in line to buy your job will forever look down upon you.

I am so hurt. That cuts like a knife. Excuse me while I go dry my eyes.....

You people crack me up. You take this sh it wayyy too serious.

What a bunch of idiots.

...and oh by the way, I paid cash. No loan.

"No, as I have said many times on here, I did not have to PFT"

Say it a few more times and you might start believing it, I don't, however.

Ah yes, you were the exception, you of course didn't pay for your job, its was everyone around you. I wouldn't expect you to owe up to it anyway. its always the other guy, keep telling yourself that. You do defend PFT, got to admit most just hold their head in shame. Forgive me if I suspect you bought your job like just about everyone from your time frame at Comair.

"until someone shows me where it is illegal or against a Union rule I will continue to assert they did absolutely nothing wrong"

Illegal and immoral just sound alike, not always the same though
There is nothing worse than biting the pillow to get a job, but your the one who has to live with the warts from it for the next few decades. Wear it well, but know the damage you did.

Who said any thing about blaming the pilots? My point is it is not my fault. Why should I have to pay for their retirement? It's their problem not mine.
I wonder if any of them would send me some money for my retirement. How about the money I lost in my 401k and Roth IRA when 911 hit? How about them replacing all that money? They lost money, and WE have to pay for it. That sir, is BS.

Why not!? You paid for you're job, you might as well pay for your own retirement as well.

Tom?

Shut your mouth, you Pay For Training whore. Since you bought your job, you have no right to b!tch about how this industry has gone downhill. You are part of the problem not the solution.

Go f*ck yourself. Oh wait, you'd probably pay for that too.

Oh paleeze. You rearranged your money when a Rep. Admin. moved into the white house for that sole reason. And THAT saved your money. Tell me another one.

As far as PFT. Is it illegal? Is it in the Union Constitution and Bylaws ? Do you feel the same about buying your type if you get hired at SW? Do you buy goods that are the result of non-union labor?

No, as I have said many times on here, I did not have to PFT. I worked as a flight inst. as a new hire for two years, then moved out on line. Others did pay but until some one shows me where it is illegal or against a Union rule I will continue to assert they did absolutely nothing wrong.

AFELLOWAVIATOR,
In regards to my 401K, yes, I did. Glad I did, too. And according to FAR's, a carrier is required to provide both initial and recurrent training to the pilots it employs. My read is that (PFT) is a violation of FAR's. Obviously, some POI's disagree. And yes, I disagree with SW's policy regarding the 73 type. So much so that I'll leave the industry before going to SW. I WON'T BUY MY JOB!

And as far as buying products made with non-union labor, I avoid it whenever possible (about 95% of the time, and I don't shop at WALMART, and gave up my Sam's Club membership). The AFL-CIO has a website where you can check on prospective purchases.

AFELLOWAVIATOR,

Oh, and by the way, I am a registered Republican, I just don't like the neo-con policies this admin. has been following.

I have a great idea ! Let's ignore AFELLOWAVIATOR his comments are not worth the time to type a response.

Its ok to disagree, but he is such an idiot I can't stand it. I wish he was my FO I would learn alot from all his wisdom, your wife must be proud!

People just ignore this idiot. He is probably not even in the aviation business. He is one of those guys that lives in his moms basement and think he is cool because he says stupid stuff on this web site. Just ignore him and he will go away, trust me.

AFELLOWDOUCEBAG,

I thought you were leaving??? We have had to delete 4 threads already because of you.
I still can't quit laughing that pilots on here are actually offering $$$ for your real name. The blemish to Comair pilots everywhere.

not money - just gift certificates

I know people who would have gone back to work if they could have to offset the 66% pay cut they're about to take in their retired years. However, it's the gov't that won't let them go back to work. Remember the 60 rule?

Aside from that, I can think of dozens of government spending programs that I can do without(and there are thousands I've never even heard of, I'm sure). I'd happily shift some of my tax dollars around to help support these guys vs. the typical gov't welfare whore. You worried about your food stamps, afellowaviator, or just upset that we all didn't help pay for your job?

I'm with everyone else, too: I'll ignore everything else this guy says from now on. This place is getting out of hand, anyhow.

We don't live in a communist state. Why the heck should I have to pay for their retirement? It's not about compasion. Heck, why not pay me a retirement out of the fund? Lets just make it 100 billion and let every one have some retirement money!!
ever heard of social security? unfortunately, even tho it wasn't originally meant to be this way, S.S. has become some people's only means of getting by in their retirement years. they didn't plan ahead or have any other savings. so, in a sense, with every paycheck, whether you want it to or not, the government takes money out to pay for EVERYONE'S retirement.
