I think he means by "allow"...does scheduling fly you to 71:59 then basically give you the rest of the month off.

Or do they have you fly your balls off and credit 130 hours a month on reserve. Or do you just fly one or two days with say, 12 hours of block and get the 72 hours of credit.

At UAL I have heard that 82 is that max that you can fly ? True ?

82 x 12 = 984. I have no idea if it is a limit at United but not too many more a month you can fly anyway and be under for a year. At Cal the company monitors your monthly block hours so you do not time out at the end of the year.

AA can only build lines to a max of 78 hours. Pilots can pick up to 83 max, and you can be rescheduled/flown on reserve up to a hard max of 85, then you get knocked off your trip.

As it should be. This BS of 85-95 hrs a month is getting old. Lets get back to reasonable scheduling. Now I'm sure the wh*#@s will pipe in about getting paid 100-120 hrs a month while ONLY flying 90 hrs block and how good life is!
