Anyone know where to obtain a list of hotels that offer crew rates?

What are the best deals for crewmembers in Hawaii?

Thanks guys...

Ohana.

800 outrigg

Marina hotel on Seaside in Waikiki.

Good luck.

Also, dont expect much for quality.

bump.....going there in a few months - anything new?

Call any hotel chains 800 reservation line, not the hotel directly, ask them for the "travel industry rate" they will almost always give it to you, and no one at the hotel will even know what type of discount you got when you check in.

Try using biddingfortravel.com or betterbidding.com to give you an idea of what you can get on priceline.com
It also tells you the hotels that priceline uses for the * quality you want 2*,3*,4*, etc...

I scored a Hampton Inn for $37/night when the typical rate was $90-$110

In the current economic climate, you should get some killer deals.

Travel industry rates seem to be about 10% in my experience.

In Hawaii, the hotels are bleeding red ink. If you know anyone with a Hawaii address, ask for the Kamaina rate, pronounced kahmah eyenah rate. They are dirt cheap especially for the usually overpriced nice resorts. Rates at the Hilton Hawaii Village are under $100 for Kamaina rates. Come to think of it, they probably won't even check addresses they are so desperate for cash. Good luck and Aloha!

I stayed at the Grand Wialea in Maui for around $160/night last fall. It's the nicest hotel on the island short of the four seasons.

Ohana.

The Ohana Malia is 3-5min walk from Waikiki. The walk is right through nice shopping areas.

nice place & cheap. you can use all outrigger/ohana pools etc.
