A bit off the subject, but lets talk about it anyway.
I have heard, but not tried this, so I thought I'd ask my fellow Airline Pilots.
Someone told me that if you buy a universal remote and take it to you layover hotels. Program it to the TV that's in the room, you can access the Pay-For-View Movies??
Anyone heard about this or done this?
Let me know.

Sure it works!

But, only if you fly for a >Major>.

Doesn't work if you fly for a >Regional>, a >Fractional>, a >Corporate>, or a >General>. Also, it only works when you go for your >Interview>.

Good luck

Sounds like the Logan Holiday Inn. If anyone on the third floor orders porn, it shows up on the crew room TV downstairs. Sweeeeeeeet!!!

Yes, it works

Yes, Im sorry to say......naa, glad to say I'm the remote king!
You must buy a Universal Remote (Cheap at Walmart) WITH a 'menu' button on it.
You have to program your new remote according to the supplied directions to the code of your motel TV. And when it works, Then you can press menu... etc. and add/subtract channels on the TV. It does NOT work with all motel cable systems. I personally have had no luck with Lodgenet, and of course when you're in rooms where you can't order movies anyway. You can only watch what other people have ordered (Pay-Per-View) at that same time. And Yes, it makes for some great movies that I never had to see in Theatres.......not to mention the free porn. My record for how many porn channels on at one time=3!:D My best luck motel is Holiday Inn. I want to find the person who figured this out in the first place.......and thank him! :D :D

And Remember

You MUST program your TV BACK TO NORMAL before you leave(ie, subtract the channels).
You don't want to leave it for kids or a family to find after you, while the're clicking through the channels. Much less Management. Even though that would be Hillarious to see.:D :D
You must start this in the 'general' section for any more questions.
About that Interview....

You may want to reconsider trading your integrity for some free porn. Surely it's worth more then that.
