hotel in MIA

I'm looking for a cheap hotel in Miami close to the airport.

Does anyone know of a hotel offering discount for airline crews.

1) there's a lot of clean, cheap hotels on the north side of the airport

2) there's some big hotels around there and you can ask for; contract flight crew rates, if you have to

Baymont Inn, and Red Roof offer great rates. They are on Lejuene Rd across from runway 9L. Last I checked they were around 50 bucks a night (includes coffee and breakfast) they are also clean.

On NW 36th St there are some others like the Airways, you pay less but I am not sure how low you are willing to go. Yuck!!!

It has been over 1.5 years since I have actively flown and hung out down in MIA so you may want to get a little more up to date info, but MIA is cheaper than many of the other bases.

Check the Sherry Frontanac on Miami Beach. Crew only hotel with rates around 70$
