The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating an accident involving a Horizon Airlines plane Sunday night in Bellingham.
The airplane, carrying 76 passengers, went off the runway and into grass during its landing at Bellingham Airport.
There were no injuries and the airplane will be taken to Portland to assess any damage, said Jen Boyer, an airline spokeswoman. It was towed to the terminal after the accident.
Boyer couldn't say why the plane left the runway, saying that determination will be up to the NTSB. She said it was the last flight of the day and all the passengers were headed to Bellingham so no one missed a connecting flight.
