I am trying to fill out an app for a HK based company, and I am unfamiliar with a few terms.

1. Aircraft types endorsed on license; Part I/II

What is part I/II??

2. Performance Examination Group "A" yes/no

What is group "A"?

everything else seems pretty straightforward. thanks in advance..

Tex,

Group I/II aircraft are aircraft specific to performance groups I/II as defined by the HKCAD. These should be the same as the JAA.

Perf A refers to the old UK CAA and current JAA ATPL theory exams. Perf A aircraft are, from memory medium range jet transport aircraft. 737/320 and bigger, I think.

The HKCAD rules and regs are pretty much based on those of the UK CAA and Australia's CASA.
