I doubt Honeywell is "losing money" by lowering their price. They probably aren't making AS much as they were.

Both companies are very competitive--there must be a pretty good profit to be made but it's within a rather small market. IMO.TC

P.S.--Honeywell has bent over backwards to keep our business and ARINC seems willing to do the same to get our business.

Was probably the deal that Honeywell/Arinc made to allow Arinc into the Epic cockpit and for Arinc to stop charging Honeywell retail to use Airnc VHF.

Both are very similarly priced, now, that is true.

From GDC to Arinc

We switched over in December of last year and have had real good luck with ARINC, they seem to have a lot to offer, GDC was willing to sell their soul to keep us. We had a 1month issue with GDC getting PDC to work in TEB they played it off as the tower in TEB not updating their list its worked ever since.

We use GDC Flight Sentinel, they really take care off us. They really cut us a great deal on AFIS messages when they heard that ARINC was courting us heavily. All in all I have to believe that either one would not be a mistake. Ford and Chevy's both get you down the road.

pay for faxes

Does GDC still charge to send flight plans via fax? (I'm pretty sure they did when we used them)
