Looking for any feedback on cost, content, etc of switching from GDC to Arinc.
We have Premium world wide coverage through GDC now.

Thanks

We switched our Falcon from GDC to Airinc.

Besides saving approx 2K Arinc has more to offer. We regularly use APG perfomance data. I asked GDC several times to get this to no avial. This was the number one reason why we left GDC.

On the negative you have to pay to use the SITA network while in Europe. To get around this we just turn off our SITA VHF data link and use the SAT while in Europe.

I really cannot say enough good things about my overall Arinc expirence as opposed to my less than good expirence with GDC.

GDC has lowered their price for the worldwide VHF package to $8,500. This now includes rumway analysis. GDC is now MUCH cheaper than ARINC.

Interesting ... sounds like GDC is losing money just to keep from losing more customers. At $8500 the saving is very little.

We've used both over the years..currently ARINC and could not be more pleased with the product as well as their customer service. GDC has been playing catch-up for several years now.

How do you use Arinc with your 2000EX EASy? I thought Honeywell was allowing an Arinc code in the DMU?

We have a 900EX EASy. if we switch to ARINC , haven't looked into it yet but, how do you switch the SITA off??
