Can anyone approximate the pay for a starting FO and Captain (anyone know the range)? Would pilots generally start on the 50EX or could you possibly start on the 900 or Global? People are suggesting there is a bad vibe associated with the flight department - anything specific?

Seems like a strong company with tremendous growth (increased flying) and a great fleet.... Why shouldn't I consider an opportunity at Home Depot?

Earlier in the year I heard starting for a 50 FO was ~$75K/year. I've heard some good, some bad things about the department. Good things that would make this a career move. Bad things you couldn't live with. As far as I know, they don't live at the hangar when not flying. If they did, would you turn it down??? (thats for a previous poster...not you Six)

If your not flying your sitting in the office talking to a bunch pilots talk about pilots. My theory is if you have to post a pilot posistion then there is a reason,,,,usually they cant find someone cause word on the street is the job ----
Almost every company in the Fortune 500 now posts all job openings on the company internet, or somewhere that they may be seen by the general public. Why? Because most company's have a bunch of lawyers that look at every possible way a company could become a target of litigation. If you post a job opening somewhere, then nobody can say that they didn't have an equal opportunity to apply.

Also, if a company does any business with the Federal Government, they are require by EEOC regulations to post all job openings for a certain period of time before they start interviewing.

Dep--My bu***h!t alarm is going off but you have a gun. :D

Congrats if you aren't jerking our chain. Gotta give us the dirty details on the hiring process, too.

Happy New Year!TC

Your Bu***h!t alarm is right. I am just yanking your chain. Thought I would start off the New Year with a positive attitude anyway. Just maybe that will get me a new job.

Just had Kathy do my resume and it looks great. Now I just got to get it out in the mail.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
