History of abandoned airfields

That is an awesome sight indeed. Apparently their used to be some airfields around this area that I didn't even know of. Some of them are remarkably intact, with hangers and everything. Others, have been completely obliterated, you wouldn't even know an airport was ever there. One such airport, is now completely gone with a WalMart distribution center over the entire area.

And guess who got his aviation career started there, non other than Frank Lorenzo. He did aircraft sales or something of that nature at the FBO if I'm not mistaken.

Yeah, but I've been led to understand there are a LOT of holes in the fence around the old place. I figure I can sneak in there off Ullmer St or 20th Ave. If so, I can pee on something in honor of the great Satan of aviation.
