My favorite has still got to be the two part series with Arthur Godfrey--flying the Eastern Connie.

Totally awesome. "I think it's time for a cigarette!" That was my favorite part (even though I can't remember the brand he smoked)

I loved it when he wowed the audience by calling for 1, 2, and 3 to be feathered at cruise to demonstrate the modern airliner's ability to fly on one engine. I kept waiting for him to say, "and that's nothing. Feather four!" :D

(Sure, they can fly just fine on one engine, but I'll betcha they were coming down fifteen-hundred feet a minute!)
