I was just curious as to what the hiring minimums for all regionals were currently at. A lot of websites say 1000/100 but is this really accurate? Any help on current info will be appreciated.

Most are around 600TT 100Multi.

Some are hiring at lower times if the applicant has completed an advanced jet training program such as those offered by ATP, JetUniversity, ERAU and UND.

www.airlinepilotcentral.com has good info on this.

Hi!

Most of the regionals are at 500 TT with not too much multi (officially). They will hire with less.

Pinnacle, TSA, PSA and USA Jet have these official mins:
Comm-MEL
Instrument
Yes, that's correct, NO hourly mins.

Just ask...

Instructordude probably knows-he knows all. At least all the important things one needs to know, like how to spank off on 80% of his overnights!

ARE YOU SMOKING CRACK? So much TT! Your are kidding right. 600TT you can hardly talk on the radios playa. And we wonder why the industry is sucking more and more....

Learning to become a competent pilot, unlike 99% of the beginners in the right seat of all those RJs ...

Took the words right out of my mouth. I figure I've spent so much money on my ratings, might as well learn as much as I can and not sell out and go to a low time, low paying job that I might not even have a year after training. Holding out for the 1000/100 jobs out there.

The flip side to that is all the senority you are missing out on at your first, second, and maybe third carrier.

It should be noted that despite several "low time guys" being hired the failure rate has been crazy. I heard our class of 8 only had one survivor last month and at least 4 of em failed out. Also for a few of the guys that made it to the line they were never signed off of IOE. It's gonna get really scary around here.

Hi!

Sayagain: Thanx.

I like it when I tell a joke and most people laugh, but a couple of minutes later other people laugh as they get it. I like to make people think.
