What's the story at Air Wisconsin right now?
Are they hiring?
What's the attrition right now?
How long is it taking to get called after submitting a resume?

I think I read they're losing 20-30ish a month?!?

500/125 mins with RDU and LGA opening this spring.

Submitted mine 2 1/2 weeks ago...no word yet

Take this for what it's worth but I spoke to a buddy of mine yesterday who's a sim instructor and apparently we are going to be trying our best to steer clear of the low time guys. Our failure rate has gone through the roof and we're starting to see problems on the line with attitudes and egos.

One would think somebody flying a 53,000 lb jet with 500-600 hours wouldn't HAVE a friggin' ego...

Generation Me kids. It's expected from a culture that grew up with Mommy and Daddy telling them they are special and that the world owes them everything.

I hear you.........but on the other hand, pretty much all the new FO's I've flown with have been outstanding. Inexperienced in the RJ but aware of it and they've been quick to back me up and help when the fhit hits the shan. Only been a couple that have been "challenging".

More like 15 a month.

And not all have been CA's; some after their probationary PC and new-hires before getting to OE.

More like 15 a month.

At least 7 so far for February.
19 in January.
20 in December.
33 (including me) in November.
12 in October.
16 in September.
26 in August.

Not counting Feb numbers, that's an average of 21/mo for the last six months.

235 pilots left AWAC in 2007...which was between 25-30% of the total pilot group.

Compete to win!
