Anyone out there use some of the services available to get your medical"Expedited"?
I know there are several, even some in OKC that claim they have an advantage in getting things done quicker than doing it yourself using the protocols listed on the FAA website.
Let me know what your opinion is of these services good or bad. Thanks!

AOPA might be a good resource for getting things moving in the right direction.

I know an AME in Denver who specializes in getting pilots re-certified after dequals. When I needed to get my cert back after being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, he gave me my physical, sent a fax to the Feds and he got an aproval and typed my ticket on the spot. He works with guys who have had everything from hypertension to heart attacks and strokes. PM me if thats the kind of thing you are talking about.

Thanks for the info guys.I have used one of these services and I think I have been hosed. I can't disclose who they are as of yet for fear of some sort of reprisal. I was just trying to see if anyone else has been hosed as well. Be carefull before you spend any money.
