Part 135 does not require FAs for 19 seats
Bobbysamd,
In the Part 135 or 121 World, aircraft operating with 19 seats or less do not require flight attendants other than your friend from Tab Express (just kidding). That goes for Metros or B1900s.
I went to Deland Florida and saw their operation, Tab Express. I felt sad for them instead of angry. All their pilots drink the same (I'm going to be flying a 757 next month) cool-aid. They are a 135 operator or 121 supplemental that adopts many of the airline procedures like flight dispatchers, ramp agents, bad loaders, etc... When I was flying the Metro Part 135 the flight crew did everything because the extra cost would put us out of business. What would it do to a King Air that only seats 6-7? Oh, I forgot.... the pilot in the right is picking up the tab... Maybe they will not go out of business.
When I was going to college for engineering because I could not afford an "aviation career" at TAB, Emby-Riddle, U of I etc... (stands for Tony and Bob no kidding) I was jealous of guys who got all their flying paid for by Daddy. I got my engineering degree, then worked to save money for aviation, then started flying at the bottom. But guess what?, my buddies who got everything paid for them and Daddy worked at American are now furloughed and hate aviation because it doesn't mean anything to them because they didn't earn it.
I still like people who follow their dreams. It's really not his fault that Mom and Daddy are paying for everything. Maybe I would have and now I know it would have been a horrible thing for me. Only now I can see how lucky I was.
