Those days are closing in. Delta is the only one left but not for long. I wish it weren't so.

So why are so many pilots still willing to fly for crap wages and working conditions at the "steping stone airlines", when that "great major airline job" is not to be found anymore?

You must be going off min. guarantee. Here at 'lil 'ol Astar, I grossed an average of 18k per month for 2003. Nobody does min. guarantee around here. I'd guess the average is higher at ABX as well... but I don't know.
