As I understand it, it picked up that name because the approach was often included on the T38 checkride. Go back to your flight sim, run your airspeed up to around 320kts, and then fly the approach at that speed, slowing to around 210 kts after intercepting the localizer. If you still think it's easy, then obviously, the Air Force missed a hell of a pilot...
