Fellow Navy flightcrew,
Does anyone have any information on the HH-60H that crashed at NAS Fallon on the 7th of May? A former squadronmate of mine from HS-14 days, AW1 William "Bill" Weatherford was among the five crewmembers that were killed. I was very sad to read of this mishap, because I remember Bill as a very competent aircrewman, strong rescue swimmer and very diligent in completing his collateral duties as well. Fallon has not been a kind place to the Navy H-60 community over the years, and the training environment is very demanding. However, it's the nature of training for combat.
