But you have to sign a waiver stating you'll work under the current contract for 5 more years! Kidding, kidding, I hope. :D
Better get yours before Beallllllllll gets 'em! :erm:

Employee Appreciation Week starts tomorrow and as part of that Flight Operations has purchased 250+ Atlanta Bread Company box lunches for Sunday (9/16) and Monday (9/17). Please stop by the crew lounge after 10:30AM to pick up your free lunch or dinner on ASA.
Thanks for what you do for ASA.

I hope they went to ALPA to make sure that they could give it to us... cuz good forbid they just do something nice/right by the pilots and fa's... ie. perf plus.
Screw them and their food. Spend money on getting a contract signed instead.
I would love to see it sit there and rot, it would fit right in with the old crusty CP's

Feeling better

Don't forget about the ASA goodies that you get if you answer their inane questions. What if I want nothing with the ASA logo on it, as it's very embarrassing to showcase in public.

Don't take the food. They are trying to stop the increasing "late departures" due to crew nourishment! Screw THEM! I would rather BUY my own food than to eat their SH!T!!:puke:Like Papa said...there probably is some "Radioactive Sh!t" in them thar crew meals! Be VERY BERY QUIET! haaaahaaaahaaaa

Well the food is provided by Atlanta Bread Company, so yeah, the radioactive part is a given. And you'll also have to wait 20 min for your ticket #131 while they are calling out ticket #159 already.

Free food is free food. When you make as little money as we do even the free radioactive stuff is good. That $4.07 I'll save by not getting my moo moo mr. cow from Moes will go a long way towards my bar tab tomorrow night.:D

Take your free lunch, then go sit in the crewroom and eat it. Since it's on a football day, I'm sure you can even catch an episode of Little House on the Prairie too.

I can't believe so many people are willing to take anything from them.

In a former life, we were in contract negotiations with the city...there had been some pretty hurtful things said and some pretty insulting offers made.

There was a citywide employee "banquet".......not one single patrol officer, sergeant, detective or dispatcher showed up.

That is unity.

Something this pilot group seems to lack

I felt very appreciated. I was handing them things out like Santa! And I wasn't even working yesterday!

So management appreciates 250 of it's 4000+ employees ..... thanks for nothing!!

Try this out... several flight attendants were yelled at by BS and thrown out of the pilot lounge for taking lunches. Then my wife and I took it upon ourselves to make sure everyone ate. ASA sure appreciates its employees.

talked to rc about this - sh bought the lunches for the pilots since the fa's had their own plans. bs was there and i didnt see him ask any fa's to leave and there were more fa's than pilots in our lounge. rc was not happy cause they ran out before most pilots could get them. i got mine.

So this pretty much clinches it. You people will complain about ANYTHING!

What this shows is once again how out of touch management is with it's workforce. Since the changes of June 1st ASA is made up of pilots, flight attendants, maintainence, dispatchers and a few support personel. It just doesn't show much appreciation when most of your work force is out WORKING and you offer a few free meals back at the ranch for those few that may be there and be quick enough to take advantage. (as a suggestion, a voucher would have been more equatible)
