I did indeed PFT, after flight instructing and flying jumpers wasn't enough. Thanks to those fockers with the towels on their heads I got the rug pulled right out from under me and found myself waiting tables again because there weren't even any sh!tty flying jobs left. But then again everyone suffered and is still suffering from that attack. I needed the turbine time, and I don't regret it for a minute. I learned a lot. And once again, you're not buying a job there, just the time, and in hindsight it's not that much time. The job I have now I got on my own...and I get to hear how sh!tty it is to fly with those CFIs who "did their time" every day. You're right though, I'm much more impressed with someone who gets a job flying a jet after building 2000 hours in the right seat of a cessna. Definitely qualifies them to fly a jet, how silly of me. You wanna feel like you have some right to be on a high horse, it's a free country...but I don't need you pissing in my ear over it. I'm fine with the choice I made. So now that I'm done justifying that as you put it...what makes you think you're so much better than everyone else? It's clear you don't have much of a life if you have nothing better to do than get on a message board and run your mouth on a thread that isn't about PFT in the first place. People like you suck. Go away.
