I was wondering if anyone out there, in this vast pool of knowledge, knows if there are any programs that help pilots, financially, to get back their medical. I am a low income ex-pilot, due to a car accident, looking at getting my medical back. My problem is that I have spent a lot of money training, so consequently I am pressed for money to pay for the testing required by the F.A.A.. I know most pilots are low income but wondering if there is any organization directed to this matter. Any help would be great! Thanks.

There was a topic not long ago about lost medicals. They had some links to organizations that specalize in helping pilots with lost medicals. There may not be any info about low income in the threads but the organizatons might be able to point you in the right direction.
Good luck, my prayers are with you man. I would be in the same boat if I lost my medical. Paycheck to paycheck.
