Help-War Zone contract provisions

My current job is looking at some mil contracts in and out of some war zones. Need to find out what protections other companies provide for their crews operating in and out of these areas so we don't get totally screwed if they actually do this; insurance, pay overrides, up front bonuses, etc.

Any help is appreciated.

I believe we have a 1 million dollar insurance policy and also get $400 per trip into war zones.
