Help... Ideas Please

I am a midwesterner flying for a regional in the NE Corridor. I'm looking for some sun and fun next time I get a few days off. As you can immagine, as a broke FO I can't afford those nice all inclusive resort type places, so asking for ideas on where to go on a tight budget. I'd like to Jumpseat somewhere in Florida or the Bahamas and not have to rent a car. Also looking to stay in Hostel type lodging. Scuba and being a beach bum are high on the priority list. Thanks in advance!

Jacksonville Beach is a great place to hang out (specifically Atlantic beach) you can visit St. Augustine, St. Mary's,St. Simons Island and Fernandina beach in one weekend! Jacksonville isn't too bad either, not alot of tourists like Orlando

Yeah, Got back to the crashpad in philly yesterday afternoon. left a blizzard in Minnesota to arrive in the nice philly fall wx. Today, however, has sucked royally with all the fog. Atleast I get cancellation pay
