I need someone to steer me in the right direction. I am really interested in flying in the guard. I live in South Florida but am willing to go anywhere. I'm 23 with a 4 yr business degree, a little over 300 hrs and a comm, inst, me. Should I just start sending out resumes and cover letters all over the country? I figure I can get better info on how to go about this from this board rather than a recruiter. Im really serious about it, not just trying to play them for a ride to the majors, and realize it'll take a while and a lot of hard work if i get a flight slot, but i don't know a soul in the guard and need a little guidance so to speak.

Hey Patmack-
I bought that book, it is really great. Thanks for the info.
