Does anyone know if there are any public-use heliports in San Fran and Palo Alto? Do any of the private ports allow the public to use them if you pay a fee? Thank you for any information.
 
there's a floatplane/heli port in sausalito.

search around for it on the internet and and then ask them.

there's a couple monthly newspaper type magazines (pacific flyer.com) that list FBO's offering helo training in the bay area - those schools would know.

i think nice air, near san jose, might offer helo training

FAA FSDO might know
