Oh this was just a beauty listed in the Washington Post today.......I can't even make a comment about it - the only thing that might have made it funnier is if the guy thought they were aliens.

VIRGINIA
Chopper Landing Spurs Charges

Charges have been filed against a man who landed a helicopter on a residential street in the Williamsburg area and a man who admitted firing an assault-style rifle at the helicopter because he thought the occupants were terrorists, police said.

John Chwaszczewski of James City County told authorities that he fired his AR-15 rifle because he thought the helicopter pilot and a passenger were terrorists.

The pilot was John S. Sutton of Williamsburg and the passenger was John Peters, who lives one street away from Chwaszczewski, police said. Sutton was charged with recklessly operating an aircraft, a misdemeanor. Chwaszczewski was charged with interfering with an aircraft, discharging a firearm in a public place, reckless handling of a firearm and assaulting Sutton, authorities said.
