I don't know the pay, but a position just opened up in Greenville, SC (GMU).
It is flying for a local news station. There has been a lot of turnover. They are on call - 24/7 - lots of just sitting at the airport waiting for something to happen.
I know the job doesn't sound very appealing, but it's something. I don't know what your Helo experience is.
I left a corporate job 2 years ago that operated jets and an S76. They wanted the helo pilots to be dual rated with at least 1000 hrs helo (ATP preferred) and 1000 hrs fixed wing. I think the dual rated guys started out in the mid $50k's.
