I have a trip through HECA coming up in July (Tech stop or overnight not decided yet).

This will be my first time there. If a couple of you long time, Atlantic jumping veterans would not mind suggesting a good handler, I would be eternally indebted.

Universal and Air Routing are great, but if someone knows of a good handler to go direct with, I would appreciate the gouge.

Osama, (not kidding) at AN Aviation has always been good for us at both Cairo and Alex.

Heca

Just finished a long contract based in HECA.... There are several good local agents, including TIGER and NATIOAL...

A dedicated VIP terminal Hall 4.

Airport hotel Movenpick...get second floor exec rooms. normal if National organise. If overnight, then be prepared for slow progress back to aircraft...

Apron service can be a little slow....fuel from all usual suppliers.

ATC basically good, expect large seperation on arrivals, and departure is always runway heading to 3000 ft.

If more details needed pse PM me.

If it's just a tech stop try LUX, Luxor. You will get in and out much quicker, and I believe the fuel is cheaper.

The Pyramids are in Luxor. Depanding upon rwy in use you can see them on arrival or departure.

Thank you for the input, HECA is an overnight on the way further south and east, but we could use LUX as the TECH stop coming back.

Your info is GREATLY appreciated.

Not to hijack my own thread, but any good BBQ in HECA?...would love to be able to say I did BBQ there.
