Position is located in New York, New York.
Responsibilities: The primary responsibility of the Captain is the direct control and the final authority as to the operation of the assigned company aircraft. The primary role is as the Pilot-in-Command, which includes the safe and efficient ground and in-flight control of the aircraft, while meeting our customer’s expectations, complying with FAA regulations, and adhering to department operating procedures.
The incumbent must assure the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft on all trips, while managing communication and coordination with the assigned crew, dispatch, maintenance and administration. Additionally, he/she must ensure the success and improvement of the entire department through active participation and involvement in operational issues/projects. The Captain must also maintain a thorough knowledge of aircraft systems and procedures through company provided recurrent training and self-study. He/she will analyze and comprehend industry, regulatory and Company procedures, regulations, policies, and codes of conduct.
Required Qualifications: Incumbent must have a minimum of 10 years experience in Corporate Aviation, including 5 years experience flying heavy aircraft. He/she must have 3 years experience flying Gulfstream aircraft, an Airline Transport Pilot license, and maintain a First Class Medical.
Must have strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills in working in a team environment, previous experience in working with outside vendors within the business aviation community, current and historical knowledge of business aviation issues and technology enhancements available in this industry, 4 year Bachelor degree is preferred. With additional consideration given for continuing education, thorough understanding of dispatch and maintenance functions and their impact on corporate flight operations.

What exactly is considered "heavy aircraft" in the corporate world? I personally wouldn't call a GV as a heavy (if that's what they're talking about)
