Gonna be jumpseating to Heathrow on a cargo flight and was just wondering what is the best way to get to a tube station from the cargo ramp. Thanks!

Wankel

Just follow the signs after you get through customs.

The tube is easy to find as it stops in all the terminals, get yourself a tube map and you will have no problem getting around London.

P.S. London is very expensive, do you have a place to stay?

Sweet, that is cool you can walk it from the cargo ramp.

Yeah, I was over there in oct (Thanks usair) and could not believe the price of things.

Not sure if I have a place to stay yet....my friend is working on that ;)

Do you head over there often?

Wankel

Hi Wankel :

Yes I go there quite often, I have two partners in the warbird restoring business and they live in London, we operate our company out of London.

Last summer I crossed the Atlantic eight times commuting from my home on Vancouver Island to Europe. it is something like a torture session flying those trips.

However our work takes us all over the world rebuilding and ferrying warbirds.

Heck yeah stuff is expensive in London with 1 pound = $1.92, I wouldnt be able to get anything. Great town though, I lived there for three months last summer.

I just got back from Amsterdam and it was about 1=1.33 when I was there and that was bad enough.
