health insurance with airnet

Just wondering about how much can i expect to be taken from each paycheck for health insurance for me and my wife?? Ive read about all the benefits just not how much you have to pay. any insight appreciated

My wife and I pay about 58 dollars a paycheck. However, it depends on the health plan you pick. The health plan we chose is middle of the road, I believe the premium plan is about 20 dollars more a paycheck. Hope that helps.

For a single guy on the mid-grade health plan, expect about 26 bucks per check. It's a decent insurance plan, thank God it's not an HMO.

Actually you have paid out of pocket expenses. Only you are paying it pre-tax not post-tax.

I was using the high end plan for myself and my daughter (thank goodness my wife had hers through her company) and we were paying close to 90 per check...may have even been a little more. Sorry, too lazy to get out of the chair and actually find an old stub (located on the shelf right next to my computer ). It was expensive, but worth it in my mind, we were in the hospital for my daughter almost weekly it felt like, so it made it seem a little better. For just you and the wife i would say choose a lower end plan if you do not get sick or need the hospital much. Flex account isn't a bad idea either, i just found the usefulness of them when the HR lady at my current job did a VERY good job of explaining them...didn't get the same help or explanations from the HR dept at Airnet...but i still love them.

pretax or post-tax it doesn't really matter, with all the debt I have it never makes it to my bank account much less my pocket!!!

By the way, I got my class date, its April 11th so I am super excited. I plan on keeping a training blog on Jetcareers and maybe here if people are interested.

Whoops sorry, you are right. It's been over a year since I was flying for Jetride and got my companies mixed up.

thanks fellas. We actually have insurance through them right now at my wife's job, and she pays around 190 a paycheck for the gold plan. Sounds like Airnet will be MUCH better than that.

I am currently paying $126 per pay check for the premium plan (one child and a pregnant wife). In addition to that I having about $96 per check for a flex spending account. Having a baby aint cheap.
