Flew with a CA last month who wore an old black ASA brand headset. He told me he has a 4 year old cat.

My earmold has a "Noisebraker" insert included, so it functions as an earplug as well. I am fortunate to live in the city where the lab is, so I went there to have my ear mold made, and told them I wanted noise attenuation included in my PEV-77 earpiece. I wear a custom-fitted silicone Noisebraker earplug in my other ear.

I am pretty sure they can still make you an earpiece with the Noisebraker even if you don't live in town. You probably have to get an ear impression made and send it to them.

Yes, they are very nice, but they aren't TSO'd. My company specifically mentions that you MUST use a TSO'd headset.

Did the TSO finally come through or are they still working on it? I know they have the paperwork in for it (from the website)...nothing new on the site though. That'd be great if they are...seems like a very nice set up.
