Our Budget is 9MM$ after ordering (and taking cashflow previsions) the DA-7X or the G5000, we are planning right now no plane is undeway. - I'm not confused, sorry if I confuse you -.

Our Company has a single owner (new rich also), he comes from the software industry and he made millions in few years, need I say more about my peculiar position, now we flight a CJ2, I'm not a professional Airman, I only have a CFI ME licensea and few hours logged -no jet time-, but my boss is also an old friend.

My boss don want to spend a lot of money on a interim plane, so the restrictions.

The DA7X costs 39MM$ including all the options my boss selected.
The G5000 in short time will have a new cockpit identical to the Falcon's EASY, its ticker coud rise to 36MM$
Dasault also considers a Falcon 5X for 35MM$ (a shortened range 7x with less fuel capacity the same as the 900DX to the 900EX and the G350 to the G450, the same plane, less fuel, less price).

Thanks for the clearing that up. I don't think that I was the only one confused by your post. Now that I understand it, I would say sure, get the Hawker until the 7x arrives. It has been about 6 years since I was in a Hawker 800XP, but I would say that it is a very good aircraft (I don't know anything about the winglet mod though). With that much cash, it's a shame that your rich friend can't spring for a few more million $ to get you into a used DA-50. It might be good to practice in a smaller Falcon before you tackle the 7x and the Easy cockpit.

Let me see if I understand this also, you are friends with the rich guy, and he hired you to fly the 7x with 300 TT and a CFI? That should be a great time-builder for you! How much experience does your co-pilot have?

Actually, I'm going to be his FO. Since he has an MEI, he's going to get me ready for the Com/ME ride in the Hawker before the Falcon gets here.

Sure, there's lots of switches and stuff. But we'll have books and manuals and what-not. Shouldn't be too hard.

No, I'm acting only a reliance advisor. I don't fly nothing (also as co-pilot), we have an south-american Chief pilot, he has an ATP rating and ~6000 hr (PIC), also two more pilots for SIC but they don't have ATP (they have about 2000hr ea, because their PIC time isn't enoug to get the ATP), but both are ceritified on our CJ2, we also have a 200 HR/yr on a fractional. We are based outside the US.

I have plans to get mi own rating on the CJ2 later, but I have no plans to be a crew member of my fiend's planes, this will rise our insurance to the moon, I'm aslo partner of my friend in other business, so I don't need to fly for money.

When we incorporate the new plane, we will hire a second Captain with enough time to keep our insurance decent, also if required we will finance the type rating.

I have plans to later buy my friend's CJ2 for my personal use, only if I get the finnacing from my friend, then maybe I'll fly this plane with the accompaniment of an experimented Captain, just to keep the insurance low ;).

I know that many kids enters to this forum and also invent many fantasies, just rely on me, I'm only wan't good information, I know that many things I read here could be lies, but I 'll valorate what is true or not.

The new G5000 Cockpit is suposed being readied by Thales.

Actually, the Hawker is quite easy.....only 3 of those switches REALLY do anything....the rest are just for looks, and to justify pilot salaries. It's up to YOU to figure out which 3 are important. :D
