Hey, that's great news, Dan! Hopefully, my airline will use you guys when we commercial to Hawaii from JFK. It's such a PITA and a very long day to make connections on the West Coast. (did it last weekend and it was more tiring since we had a 2.5 hour delay at LAX and then had to return to the gate after taxiing out to retrieve some dogs the rampers forgot to load.)

We leave JFK mid morning and will get to HNL mid afternoon. The trip to JFK is a red eye that leaves in the early evening.

Are you guys high five'n over more industry codeshare?

Are you guys high five'n over more industry codeshare?

It's a fact of life in this industry, an agreement like this doesn't cost anyone a job but it does create positive synergies for both airlines (gawd, I sound like management!)
Hawaiian certainly benefits from this and so does JB. Neither could have done what the other did. It would be stupid for HA to set up their own feed and it would be equally stupid for JB to get a whole neither type of A/C for a single market.
This creates a very high quality service to Hawaii in lot of markets that didn't have it before.
