I have heard that Hawaiin (Aloha also) show strong preference to those who live in Hawaii, and to some extent those who live in domociles. Any truth to it? Thanks

For both Hawaiian and Aloha Airlines, what is the most junior position -- the inter-island or the long hauls? Also, for both airlines how long does it take to upgrade to captain?
